KidsLearningisfun is proud to share a range of workshops, created specifically for parents, that will provide parents with the know how and language that our children are taught in the classrooms.

These workshops will be interactive with real hands on activities. I intend to show parents the steps children are taught in their learning process using materials and language children use in the classroom. Helping parents in being able to help how to teach reading, how to teach writing, teaching place value and teaching addition.

 Workshops will be available in both math and language areas. Language workshops will cover the areas of Spelling and Phonics, and Reading and Writing. Math workshops will cover place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division (including number facts).

Workshops if held within a school can be designed to support the school’s curriculum. I am happy to work in with principals and teachers on ensuring what parents are learning follows the school curriculum.

Each workshop will only take a maximum of 25 parents to ensure a favourable learning environment. Cost per person will be $45, which covers all materials and handouts and a copy of one of the KidsLearningisfun products - Spelling Rules, The Grammar Guide or A Guide to all Things Math. With my recent round of workshops, mention the school your child attends and 10% is donated to the school.

Maths Parent Workshop          8th September, 2010    from 6.30pm-9.30pm

Spelling Parent Workshop           October - Date to be advised                  

Reading/Writing Parent Workshop          November - Date to be advised    

 All the above workshops will be held at the Paloma Reception Centre, Mains Road, Sunnybank (beside the Altandi Train Station)
